Why Strength Coaches Must Control Their Thoughts

As a Man Thinketh by James Allen

Yesterday I started reading a book I had heard about for many years. Yesterday I also finished reading that same book. As a Man Thinketh  by James Allen may just go down as the most profound book that I have ever read.

Over the past few years (and really my entire life), I have been aggressively pursuing the highest level of success in my life and career that I could possibly get my hands on. What I have to come realize is that the entirety of a person is what makes up massive success.

For example, the clothes that you wear feed into how you feel about yourself and that thought process is projected out into the world.

"Into your hands will be placed will be placed the exact results of your own thoughts; You will receive that which you earn; no more, no less."

Have you ever met someone that you didn't like but you had no reason to not like them? They were being perfectly pleasant? Maybe you couldn't put your finger on it but you knew there was something about them that you didn't care for.

As a Man Thinketh brings to life this philosophy and shows you how your thoughts are manifested into your world and your life. It was honestly incredible.

How does this relate to Strength Coaches and Fit Pros? How does it NOT relate to Strength Coaches and Fit Pros? Right now, I'm working with some friends of mine to put together a workshop on how to help approach the new virtual training landscape. Training virtually is NOT the same. If you don't drastically raise your game, you may not make it! If you don't think you need to bring serious energy into a virtual session you're CRAZY!

What As a Man Thinketh will show you is that whatever you are thinking, it will be perceived on the other end. People have that type of sixth sense.

"The soul attracts that which it secretly harbors, that which it loves, and also that which it fears."

It's really easy right now to think about the challenges you have to overcome as a trainer as we all await for normalcy to return but the answer lies on the complete opposite end of your thought spectrum.

"He will find that as he alters his thoughts towards things and other people, things and other people will alter towards him."

How can you help make your current clients and prospective clients lives brighter? Those who best find that answer will win the pandemic. Those who don't will be treading water until normalcy returns.

It can be done but your thoughts are regulating your outcome. Demand the right thoughts and enjoy the outcome.
